For every type of shapeshifter this name generator gives you 15 names. The names I used relate to alter, deceive, transformation and similar topics. Some names are real names, such as Cat for Copycat, Mick for Mimic and Kate for Duplicate, which function for words. We did not use such wordsplays when the pronunciation of a word or name must be altered so much as we do not feel that they work well. These names would have the wordplay in the brackets behind the name. Mel and ChaMELion, for example, or Desy and Design. They work to some degree, but we haven't added them almost as well as the names previously listed. Sadly, this means that "only" about 145 names remain. But we assume consistency over quantity.

The term Shapeshifter is using to describe a creature that can change its form and appearance and often do so at will. Most people who use the word "Shapeshifter" describe a character in fiction, but some people have actually used it to refer to a person in real life. A character with the ability to change their form has fascinated and been the source of many books, movies, television shows and even video games.
It is possible to become a shapeshifter in a story, but the odds are against you becoming a fictional character. This is because shapeshifting is not a universal ability, and is not usually a trait that are picked up in a game of role playing. As such most people who are actually born with the ability to change their form to do so because it is something that they were born with, and then later learned to use in a way that they pleased. However, people with this ability sometimes do learn to control their abilities through various means. Some can become a shapeshifter by learning how to cast spells that alter their form, while others just have to find a way to change their body parts in the right way. While it is not impossible to change your form with a spell or some other kind of magical power, it is much more difficult to learn how to do so on your own.
There is a lot of crossover between fantasy and shapeshifting. Many movies and TV shows that feature shapeshifting characters are based on the popular fantasy genre and are also set in settings where people can change their shape. If you are interested in creating a character in fiction that can become a shapeshifter or one that is inspired by a popular shapeshifter, then there are a few things you should keep in mind.
