This name generator will create 15 names appropriate for the Star Wars universe's Hutt race. Hutts are a race of massive slug-like creatures with large mouths and big eyes, but their eyes always seem tiny compared to their huge bodies. They did have a long tail that allowed them to slither anywhere they wanted to go, as well as two arms that gave them the ability to control their environment somewhat. The Hutt ruled a vast empire of space, and was relentless in their search for more influence. Their hunger for more strength is as strong as their hunger for food, which is considerable. Hutt names are amazingly diverse because some Hutt got too big to walk about. Although some have simple, guttural names (like Jabba), some have longer, more complicated names and some have harsher names to look. Others are going to have something in between or aspects of both that opens up an even broader variety of names. The names are not divided into male and female names because Hutt are hermaphrodites. Some Hutt are taking on a more masculine or feminine persona, but that is no excuse to distinguish the titles.

The Hutts are very unique species of extremely large, powerful, aquatic amphibians with long thin bodies, wide mouths and enormous eyes, who rule a massive space empire in the galaxy known as Hutt Space. The species is said to originally hail from the planet Varl, which is no longer visible in any Galactic Empire, but other planets by this name did appear in an Imperial fleet. There is no specific Imperial star chart mentioning the presence of the Hutt species, although there is a reference to their existence in an Imperial report detailing the progress of the Galactic Civil War. It is possible that the presence of these alien species was known to the Empire at the time, however.
As the Hutt Empire expanded into Hutt space, it established itself as a formidable rival to the Galactic Republic and soon gained control of nearly half of the galaxy's inhabited systems. However, with the arrival of the Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine and his Galactic Empire, the Hutt found themselves on the losing end of a devastating battle. In response to their defeat, the species fled their homeworld and established a new base on the planet Hoth.
The Empire later discovered the existence of the elusive and powerful species known as the Hutt, and as a result employed them as secret agents within the Galactic Empire. These new agents, whom were referred to as "Hutt Hunters", quickly gained fame and respect for their role in the Galactic Civil War. The Hunter's Guild later became very powerful in the Imperial service, as many of their own members were recruited into the Imperial Military. Eventually the Empire realized that the ability to harness the power of the dark side of the Force was essential to their ultimate victory in the Galactic Civil War. In order to obtain the necessary power and force of the Force, the Empire devised the "Death Star" superweapon, which would use it to destroy the remaining Jedi and Rebel forces on a massive scale. The Death Star was eventually destroyed during the Battle of Endor, when the Rebel Alliance destroyed the Death Star's primary power generator. Though the Empire lost the Galactic Civil War and the Death Star was destroyed, the Hutts' influence in the Empire continued to be felt, and they remained in the Empire's fold, serving as a secret weapon against the Rebel Alliance.
